The web version of Google Calendar, which recently got Google Tasks integration, now has Google Maps integration. Here are all the details on the subject!
Google Tasks integration was recently made available in Google Calendar. The Google Calendar web version has now gained Google Maps support . According to a report published by 9to5Google, there is now a new icon among the options offered to users by Google Calendar. Here are all the details about the new feature Google Calendar offers to give users faster access to the Maps app!
Calendar, one of Google's frequently used applications, has come with a new integration support to make users switch between applications faster. Thanks to the new integration support that Google has brought to the Calendar application, people using Calendar will now be able to access Google's Maps service without having to bother. This integration support is expected to be of great benefit to people who have a calendar problem, as well as those who have to check Maps.
According to a report recently released by 9to5Google, a new icon has now been added right under the Google Keep and Google Tasks icons in the side panel of the Google Calendar web version. According to 9to5Google, the icon just below these icons offers direct access to Google Maps. When users click on the Google Maps icon, a search box and map view appear. There are two tabs, "Recent Searches" and "Saved", as well as the search box and map view available to users.
The first of the two tabs available to users in Google Calendar, "Recents", lists the searches made on other logged in devices. In the "Saved" tab, there are those saved by the user after logging in. While you have the opportunity to list the calls made on all devices from the Recent Searches tab, you will have the opportunity to log in and view your saved ones in the Saved tab.
The search feature on the side panel on the right side of the Google Calendar web version works just like the regular version of the application. At the bottom of the side panel, there are various shortcuts such as Directions. It is possible to say that the Directions feature offers a complete user experience showing all possible routes. Considering the integration feature in general, there is no difference in favor of the normal application of Google Maps.
