AnTuTu Removed from Play Store! Here's why

AnTuTu, which allows users to compare the performance of their smartphone and tablet models , was removed from the Play Store recently .

Why was AnTuTu Removed?

AnTuTu tests, which is one of the details that many people pay attention to before buying a smartphone or tablet, is also an important marketing tool for companies.

Last weekend, AnTuTu 3DBench, AnTuTu Benchmark and AITuTu Benchmark apps were unpublished in the Play Store. Although Google doesn't make an official statement about the subject, there are some very important theories for this.

Due to some violations by Cheetah Mobile  recently , all applications of the producer company were taken down. These removals are estimated to be related to the situation in question. As a matter of fact, Cheetah Mobile is among the shareholders of AnTuTu.

In a statement, Cheetah Mobile said that AnTuTu did not touch the Play Store account in any way and did not even promote it. Although Cheetah Mobile chairman was on the board of AnTuTu, he said it was a requirement for investment, not an operation or management.
