In addition to the Apple company, Netflix has announced that it has canceled one panel and five movie screenings, scheduled to be at the festival. WarnerMedia company also stated that it has stopped its activations in SXSW due to the corona virus outbreak.
Apple's events at SXSW included Spike Jonze's world premiere called Beastie Boys Story, an animated music series called Central Park, and a documentary series Home. In addition to the premieres, it was stated that a speech to be attended by the creators of Little America, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, was canceled.
