In a new patent of Apple published in the US Patent Office, the screen will be able to adjust itself
according to whether users wear glasses and in both cases it will present a clear image.
Technology giant Apple also makes a name for itself with the patents it has received.
Looking at the company's latest patent, a technology targeting eyeglass wearers is mentioned.
The patent is based on the fact that the device screen can be adjusted integrated with a new Face ID technology.
Apple patents eyeglass wearers
Apple has filed a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office entitled Systems and Methods
for Modifying Image Correction Graphic Outputs on the Screen of an Electronic Device.
The patent mentions a new Face ID technology.
In the patent, it is stated that an iPhone or iPad Pro user can have four different skins for the same ID.
These four looks are exemplified as reading glasses, prescription glasses, sunglasses and no glasses.
The patent actually aims to make the screen adjustable for people who wear glasses in daily life and to
be able to see what is happening on the screen even when they are not wearing glasses.
The task of Face ID here is to detect whether the user is wearing glasses or not.
Users first need to save the features of their glasses to the system. Later, when the device is desired to be used,
it will be determined whether the user is wearing glasses or not, thanks to the depth map created with the
sensors via Face ID.
After the user's status is determined, the screen will be blurry for the people around, but the device user
will be able to see the screen clearly. It is not yet known when the Apple patent will turn into a technology
that can be used in devices or whether this patent will be implemented.
