Some companies, including Spotify and Epic Games, have set up a nonprofit organization to force Apple to change its App Store apps . The organization opposes the payment cuts imposed by the App Store.
Founding members include Spotify and Epic Games, as well as a number of other companies such as Basecamp, Blix, Deezer, and ProtonMail, both of whom have previously complained about Apple's unfair App Store fees and other issues.
Coalition for App Fairness accuses Apple of crushing app competition and opposing innovation because of App Store policies. It is seen that the coalition opposes the 15-30 percent commission especially for in-app payments and digital subscriptions.
Claiming that transaction fees for App Store fees are too high compared to any industry, the coalition accuses Apple of restricting consumer purchasing power and playing with developer revenue.
The Coalition says they will welcome companies of all sizes in all industries, committed to protecting consumer preferences, promoting competition, and creating equal terms for all app and game developers around the world, but let's remind Epic Games and Spotify in particular
