High school students in Bursa attracted all the attention with the device that they developed that performs search and rescue on and under water.
Kütahya Necmettin Erbakan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Information Technologies students Hüseyin Öztürk and İbrahim Tunahan Erdoğmuş developed a device that simultaneously performs search and rescue work under and above water.
The device works with solar energy. It can be controlled with a remote control in an area of 250 meters. The device can reflect these images on the control screen while simultaneously taking images above and below the water. The device that will provide great convenience in search works in case of getting lost in water; It emerged as a result of 3 months of work by the students. Students aim to develop the device further and start mass production after obtaining its patent.
Giving information about the production phase of the device, Hüseyin Öztürk said, "Our vehicle runs on solar energy. It takes images from above and below the water at the same time and sends these images to the control screen. This device will provide great convenience to the teams in search and rescue efforts."
Kütahya Necmettin Erbakan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Information Technologies Teacher Buğra Ayvali said, "Our students built a vehicle that works with solar energy and searches above and below the water. This vehicle will provide great convenience to search and rescue teams. The vehicle can be controlled with a remote at a distance of 250 meters, and view above and below the water. "The entire design of our vehicle belongs to our students. We aim to further develop the product and make it mass-produced and marketable," he said.
