The first information started to come from the P50 family, which will be Huawei's new flagship smartphones. According to the information reported, the P50 models will be powered by the Kirin 9000 processor, as in the Mate 40 models, and will appear with Samsung or LG displays.
The real surprise with the P50 family emerges on the screen side. According to information, Huawei will use OLED screens produced by South Korean technology giants Samsung and LG in the P50 family instead of Chinese manufacturers such as BOE. It is even stated that the two companies will start production for the P50 displays already.
Some earlier rumors suggested that Huawei wanted to use the Kirin 9000 sparingly and could buy processors from Qualcomm for some P50 models, as TSMC could not produce more flagship Kirin processors due to the US embargo. However, since the license that Qualcomm has received to do business with Huawei only covers 4G processors, it is difficult to predict how we will encounter developments in this regard.
