Kaspersky has announced that hackers have begun attacking users by creating fake Windows 11 installers. According to the statements made by the company, installers created by integrating malicious software put user security at risk.

Users have been tinkering with this operating system for a while to discover the innovations of this operating system. However, Windows 11 began to attract the attention of hackers. The statements made by Kaspersky reveal that there are many hackers trying to take advantage of the new operating system.
Kaspersky, one of the world's largest cybersecurity companies, said that hackers began to create fake Windows 11 installers. Explaining that hackers have integrated malicious software into these fake installers and thus put the security of users at risk, company officials announced that hundreds of attack attempts have been blocked to date, but the attacks have not been stopped.

According to Kaspersky's statements, the most popular malware detected so far is "86307_windows 11 build 21996.1 x64 + activator.exe". Saying that this download file looks like a license activation tool, cyber security experts state that the file size is 1.76 GB, but that what is installed on the computer consists of a few DLL files. But the real issue is the downloads that start in the background when the installer is allowed.
Cyber security experts state that it is allowed to download applications in the background with the installer named 86307_windows 11 build 21996.1 x64 + activator.exe. Moreover, at this point, multiple malware downloads are initiated, thus putting users' data at risk. According to Kaspersky, those who want to use Windows 11 need to download only from Microsoft.
