How much time do we spend on the Internet? According to the latest research, the time we spend on the internet is the same as our sleep time.

Global social media agency We Are Social and Hootsuite, Digital Turkey 2020 report published n. According to the report, 74 percent of adults in Turkey (62.7 million of the 83.88 million population) internet users. Turkey last year, 2.4 million Internet users, 2.6 million mobile phone users, the number of active users of social media also showed an increase of 2.2 million. We spend an average of 7 hours and 29 minutes a day browsing the internet. This period is the same as the average daily sleep according to the research of the Turkish Sleep Association. We spend an average of 3 hours 4 minutes a day watching television, 2 hours 51 minutes on social media, 1 hour 21 minutes listening to music, and 58 minutes playing games.

According to the report, 89 percent of people between the ages of 16 - 64 use a smartphone, 67 percent have a computer (laptop or desktop PC), and 45 percent have a tablet. There are a total of 54 million social media users in Turkey and almost everybody doing input from social media to mobile devices.
