Instagram has announced that it will make the innovations it has tested in bulk available this summer. All of the features will launch this week, offering new options for sharing posts.
Perhaps Facebook's most frequently innovated platform, Instagram, announced today its new features that will gradually reach users throughout the week. These features will be brought to both the home page of the platform and the Reels section, which has been developed with the intention of competing with TikTok.
To explain briefly, these innovations are; It will enable users to collaborate with each other more easily, collect donations and use the music in Reels more easily. In addition, the platform will be easier to use from internet browsers.
It will be possible to create a joint post with the collaboration feature
If we start with the two biggest and expected developments, we can talk about the 'Collabs' feature, which is available from today. With this feature, 'tag' will no longer be the only way to get people involved in posts. When sharing a homepage or Reels post, you will be able to send a request for collaboration to someone who contributed to the post or has something to do with the situation. If the other party accepts this request, you will become two co-owners of a single shipment.
Posts can be shared from the browser
On October 21, the number of actions you can take while using a browser on Instagram will increase. Yes, correct guess. Posts can now be shared without an app on the desktop. This feature was already briefly tested in the summer, so you can join the corresponding small audience. However, on Thursday, this feature will be fully included in the platform.
Donate button will be added
Again this Thursday, a button will be added to the 'create' menu of the application, where you can use the fundraising feature. The donation feature was already on Instagram, especially due to forest fires in Turkey, we saw many campaigns using this feature this summer. However, this time, since there will be a donation campaign button in the section where we create the post, the control of this function will be much easier.
2 new music effects will be added to Reels
Finally, 2 new effects will be brought to Reels, the Instagram tool for creating TikTok-like videos. While Superbeat intelligently adds effects compatible with the music to the post, Dynamic Lyrics will reflect the lyrics to the screen in 3D in accordance with the rhythm of the song. This will also be available on Thursday, but may take a few more days to reach every device.
