Microsoft came across Bing users with the COVID-19 map . The company, which wants to provide instant information to the users of the search engine, has placed a map within Bing that is easily accessible.
In China, the new type of coronavirus , which first passed from animal to human and then began to spread among humans , suddenly became a pandemic. The virus, which managed to spread to almost every country in the world, caused thousands of deaths. Its rapid spread and high killing rate led many countries to take measures on the virus.
While China and Iran were the most affected countries after China, many different countries, especially these three countries, started to isolate themselves from the outside world. The number of cases in Turkey reached 18 in total, the Ministry of Health overlap would continue to announce new measures.
Microsoft , one of the companies looking for new ways to support the efforts of the countries and increase awareness , has presented a new COVID map to Bing users .
Offering details about the virus status of all countries on the map , the company started to offer details about the rates treated, unlike other maps. On the map, information about the number of active cases in those countries, previously treated and unfortunately the people who lost their lives are included.
In addition, Microsoft reminded that those who recovered from COVID-19 did not fully recover even though they had fallen from the statistics. It has been said that virus survivors may have permanent damage to their organs and also have the risk of re-catching the virus .
