US-based technology giant Google has announced that it will add real-time translation to the Android version of the translation application Translate.
According to the news in Mashable, Google is testing this AI-powered feature in English, French, German and Spanish.
According to Google's statement on the subject, this feature will only work on sounds captured by the microphone.
Smart devices will have to have an internet connection for real-time translation. In other words, the new feature will not work with offline mode.
It is not clear whether the feature in question will come to the iOS version and when it will be available for the Android version.
