South Korean technology giant Samsung has recently introduced many high-resolution image sensors to the smartphone industry. According to the statements made by Samsung, the prominent features of ISOCELL JN1 include Smart ISO , which provides better dynamic range in high-contrast scenes , Dual Super Phase Detection for better focusing in dark environments , 4K 60FPS and 1080p 120FPS video recording .
Samsung states that the ISOCELL JN1 is currently in mass production, which means we may see it on a smartphone soon. It is highly possible that we will see Samsung's new image sensor as a main, wide-angle, telephoto or selfie camera in a mid-range phone in the near future.
