There are only a few weeks left for Apple to introduce the new generation iPhone 13 family. Reaching serious sales figures with the iPhone 12 series, we answered the questions of when the iPhone 13, which Apple is preparing to launch, will be introduced, what its features will be, will there be any changes in price, what will be the price in Turkey, and conveyed it to you in the most up-to-date way.
Apple continues to work hard on its next flagship smartphone, the iPhone 13. As it is known, the company, which has reached serious sales figures with the iPhone 12 series, wants to continue this success on the iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 13 series, which created a very high expectation in terms of design, managed to get full marks from the users by switching to the sharp and angular design used in the latest iPhone 5s.
With only a few weeks left to the launch of the new iPhone 13, new information about the phones continues to come. The smartphone series, which is expected to be released as iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, will come with some innovations, especially on the screen side, according to the reports. If you wish, without further ado, let's take a closer look at the design, technical features, launch date and prices of the iPhone 13 series based on the claims.
iPhone 13 design:
Dimensions will remain the same:
iPhone 13 mini – 5.4 inches
iPhone 13 – 6.1 inches
iPhone 13 Pro – 6.1 inches
iPhone 13 Pro Max – 6.7 inches
The charging port will remain and the Lightning port will be used.
The notch will shrink.
We will see thicker and heavier iPhones.
The camera bumps will also become thicker.
Render images and leaks shared so far show that the iPhone 13s will not exhibit revolutionary changes in design. According to Bloomberg, Apple engineers see 2021 iPhones as 'S' models, so major design changes are not expected in this generation. Apple used to launch models that received smaller updates on past generation iPhones with the 'S' designation (For example, iPhone 5s, 6s)
According to shared reports, Apple will continue to offer 4 different iPhone models in 2021 without any changes in dimensions. We can assume that these will be the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max, respectively. Although rumors suggest that iPhone 12 mini sales are bad, it is worth noting that Apple's plans include the iPhone 13 mini model.
Although the dimensions will remain the same, the new iPhones are expected to become slightly thicker (0.26 mm) and heavier due to the larger batteries. It is also expected that the camera protrusions will increase. The biggest design change on the camera side seems to be the placement of the sensors on the dual-camera entry models, not on top of each other, but diagonally.
The notch will shrink:
One of the main questions at the design point is the notch size. Several reliable sources, including renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, have suggested that the size of the notch will shrink on the 2021 iPhones. The smaller notch can also be seen on leaked display panels that are said to belong to the iPhone 13s. According to the images, the headphone speaker has also been moved to the top frame.
Based on the images shared by Mac Otokara in April, the iPhone 13 Pro will have a notch that is 5.35 mm high and 26.8 mm wide, compared to the iPhone 12 Pro, which has a height of 5.3 mm and a width of 34.83 mm.
The charging input will remain:
Apple's longtime goal has been an iPhone without ports or buttons for a clean, modern device look. So much so that earlier this year, it was suggested that Apple will introduce a portless iPhone without Lightning connection in 2021, but this does not seem possible for now.
No USB-C either:
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple has no intention of switching the iPhone lineup from Lightning to USB-C. Apple is expected to continue using Lightning ports until MagSafe accessories become common enough to allow a portless iPhone design.
A wound in our heart: Touch ID
According to Bloomberg, Apple has been testing an in-display Touch ID fingerprint scanner for iPhone models since the day the iPhone X was launched. On the other hand, some reports suggest that Apple is working on an in-display fingerprint sensor using optical technology, while some reports point to ultrasonic technology.
Ultrasonic technology, which uses sound waves to make sense of the fingerprint, works safer and more effectively than optical technology. However, there is still no clear information about Apple's intentions for Touch ID.
iPhone 13 screen:
120Hz
Always-On Display
Prior to the launch of the iPhone 12 series, high-end iPhone 12 models may have 120Hz ProMotion displays.
