Although PlayStation is basically a Japanese company, we can clearly say that it is active in America and Europe compared to other Japanese companies. In fact, we can say that it has been almost forgotten that the company is a Japanese company recently. In the past days, a statement came from the boss of PlayStation Studios, Hermen Hulst.
"Continue to Invest in Japanese Developer"
Speaking to Game Informer recently, Hermen Hulst responded to the latest allegations. As Gran Turismo 7 producer Polyphony Digital thinks Sony is turning its back on Japan, Hulst said, "In some ways, we're still a Japanese company. It's our legacy, it's part of what we are. We love our Japanese games." said.
Hults also said that it continues to invest in an external Japanese developer, apart from Team Asobi and Polyphony Digital. He said that this studio consists of a team that has worked outside of Tokyo and previously at companies such as From Software and Kojima Productions.
