Stephen King Announces: "I Don't Trust Facebook"

Stephen King , whom many people knew closely and loved , announced that he had stopped using Facebook with his statement .

As you know, many people have recently stopped using Facebook due to their concerns about protecting personal data . There are also quite famous names here, and apparently a new one joined them.

Renowned writer Stephen King, known for his horror-type books, said he stopped using Facebook with his sharing on Twitter . "I am leaving Facebook. I am disturbed by information about fake political news and fake advertisements. I do not think that personal data is protected. If you want, you can follow me on Twitter. " The author called on his followers to follow him on this platform.

Following this sharing by Stephen King, it was seen that his Facebook account was closed in a short time.

Will Pay 550 Million Dollars

The report, which was published by the New York Times recently  , stated that Facebook is prohibited from collecting facial data without the consent of its users in the state of Illinois. The case filed for several years, as Facebook violated the province's biometric data collection laws. 

Facebook has so far denied all the charges and made certain statements that the case will end in its favor. Despite this, the company decided to take a step back   and agreed to pay 550 million dollars in compensation.
