What is the Stories Incoming to Google App Feature?

Google announced that it offers a stories feature to the Google app for iOS and Android . The stories feature that comes to the Discover section in the Google app is currently available in major countries. Those countries include Turkey unfortunately does not take place at this time.

In the stories feature in the Discover section, users are presented with content prepared by publishers. Stories are full-screen video, photos, and audio. If desired, the publisher can link to other content. Web stories also appear in various search results.

It is enough to touch the screen to scroll through and switch between stories. Publishers can use drag and drop tools such as the Web Story editor for WordPress, MakeStories or NewsroomAI to create their stories.

Google works with a number of publishers for the stories feature. Partners include publishers such as Forbes, Vice, Refinery29, USA Today, Lonely Planet, Now This, Thrillist, PopSugar, The Dodo, Bustle, Input, Nylon, The Hollywood Reporter, Blavity, PC Gamer, Golfweek.

To date, more than 2,000 websites have published stories indexed by Google. Stories feature is expected to be available in various countries in the future. Feature not given a clear date for when it will be available in Turkey.
