The expected update for Redmi 9 is out!

The expected update for Xiaomi's mid-range smartphone Redmi 9 has appeared. Redmi 9, which made its users happy with the MIUI 12 update it received before, is now getting ready to receive the Android 11 update.

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi was launched with the Android 10 operating system in the model it introduced in June 2020. As the bestselling phone interface, Xiaomi appeared with MIUI 11.

Android 11 is coming for Redmi 9; MIUI 12.5 update is on the way
Redmi, which is very strong in the mid-range smartphone market, reinforced this power with Redmi 9. 9, which became one of the best-selling models of the brand within a year, started to receive important updates.

This update, which came to the Chinese versions in June, has recently started to be distributed to the global versions. For the Global and European versions, Redmi 9 has Android 11 update with build numbers V12.0.1.0.RJCMIXM and V12.0.1.0.RJCEUXM respectively. Android 11 update for Redmi 9 is rolling out in batches. The update is expected to reach all units in the coming days.

This Android update for the Redmi 9 model is also an important preparation for the MIUI 12.5 interface update. Xiaomi may also start rolling out MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi 9 in July or August.
