ASPİLSAN Enerji, affiliated with the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, has reached the mass production stage at its Lithium Ion Battery Production Facility.
Countries investing in lithium-ion technology reduce their foreign dependency in the field of energy. The domestic and national lithium-ion battery production process in Turkey has reached a happy end.
ASPİLSAN Enerji, with the support of the Presidency project, has entered the mass production phase in Turkey's first lithium-ion battery production facility with a closed area of 25 thousand square meters in Kayseri.
THE FACILITY WILL PRODUCE 22 MILLION BATTERIES A YEAR
Lithium-ion cylindrical battery production will be carried out at this facility for the first time in Europe. The new facility will produce approximately 22 million batteries per year with a capacity of 220 megawatt-hours.
The batteries to be produced here will make Turkey a competitive country in this market thanks to its superior features.
Lithium Ion Battery Production Project Director Nihat Aksüt said, "When you compare our battery with batteries of similar capacity from famous brands, we see that it has the ability to work in lower temperature conditions and has a higher discharge rate." said.
