What's new with iOS 15

iOS 15, which has not changed much in terms of design, offers important innovations especially for FaceTime. Video calls, which have become one of the important parts of my life with the pandemic, gained new features with FaceTime. According to the information conveyed by Apple, FaceTime will make conversations more natural thanks to its Spatial Audio feature. With this feature, it is expected to offer an experience as if the person you are making a video call with is with you.

With the noise isolation feature integrated into FaceTime, background sounds will now be heard less. Another feature that came for FaceTime was the portrait mode. Thanks to this feature, the background will be blurred and the camera will focus on the user.

It is now possible to share conversations with FaceTime's link feature. Let's add that Android devices can also join FaceTime calls via this link. Among the new features of FaceTime are listen together and watch together features. Thanks to these features, you will be able to watch something with your friends and even listen to music at the same time.


With iOS 15, various innovations took place in the notification section. With the Incoming Notification Summary feature, you will be able to see a summary of all your notifications through a single notification on the notification screen. With the Focus feature introduced with iOS 15, you will be able to select an area you want to focus on and adjust your device's settings accordingly. It should also be noted that this feature will work in harmony with other Apple devices.

With this feature, it will be easy to switch between do not disturb mode, personal mode, work or sleep mode. Another new feature was the Live Text feature. With this feature, iOS 15 users will be able to copy the texts on the photos and make transactions by selecting these texts. Live Text currently supports 7 languages.

With iOS 15, the photo search feature came for Spotlight. The Memories feature in Photos will work with Apple Music. With this feature, you will be able to add music to your Memories. You can add songs by searching or from lists.

Apple Wallet will replace keys with the features it gains. Apple has also made many collaborations on the integration of keys into the wallet. Another important feature for the wallet is identity information. With the incoming feature, identity information will be able to take place in the Wallet.

With iOS 15, Apple's Weather application also gained new features. Among these features are high-resolution maps. Apple Maps , on the other hand, came up with a feature similar to Google Earth. With iOS 15, detailed information about cities and road conditions for drivers will be shared on Apple Maps.
