In beta versions 2.20.83 and 2.20.84 of WhatsApp, some settings for this feature are noteworthy .

You can choose the time adjustment for self-destructing messages as an hour, a day, a week, a month and a year. After setting the timer, a clock icon appears next to the sent message and you understand that this message will disappear after the set time.

Although it is not known when this feature will be included in the stable version for now, it seems quite possible to encounter it in the future.
