Hatay Governor Rahmi Doğan said in a statement:

"As a result of the air attack by the Assad regime forces, 4 of our TSK members could not be rescued despite all the interventions. 4 of our Mehmetçi were martyred. As a result of the air attacks, 33 of our soldiers were martyred. Our wounded soldiers in the hospitals are not life threatening. "Thanks to our nation, we will visit our wounded in the hospital in a short time. Our healthcare staff stated that none of our Mehmetçi's life threatened."
