Microsoft announced the new Windows 10 Start menu design. Here is the new design and other changes

Microsoft is introducing a new Windows 10 Start menu design that will reduce the importance of Live Tiles. The software giant first pointed to the renewed design earlier this year, today it is coming for Windows 10 testers. "We are refreshing the Start menu with a more elegant design that removes the solid color backplates behind the logos in the apps list and applies a smooth, partially transparent background to the tiles," Microsoft posted in the blog . she explains.

In fact , the decrease in the color of the interface consisting of the boxes in the Start menu will simplify it a bit and make it easier to find the applications you use daily. This slight change will certainly make the Start menu look less complicated and can be distinguished from many boxes that share a similar blue color.

Changes to Alt + Tab

The latest Windows 10 build contains some major changes to the Alt-Tab , as well as the revamped Start menu . "Starting with today's update, all open tabs in Microsoft Edge will start appearing in Alt-Tab, not just the active tab in each browser window." she explains. This seems like a change that can be a bit confusing for experienced Windows users; Fortunately, Microsoft will let you go back to the classic Alt-Tab experience. Microsoft had tried Alt-Tab changes in past versions of Windows 10, the company was planning to add tabs to each application. If Microsoft makes this feature on by default at the next major Windows 10 update at the end of this year, it's sure to get a lot of feedback.

Other Upcoming Changes with Windows 10 Build 20161

Microsoft is also making some minor changes with this new Windows 10 build. The default taskbar view will be more customizable with the option to pin the Xbox app for Xbox Live users and the Fix Your Phone app for Android users . This will be limited to creating new accounts or logging in for the first time on the PC, so the taskbar layouts will remain unchanged. Notifications now include an X in the upper right corner, allowing you to quickly turn it off. Microsoft is also developing the Settings app on Windows 10 . Usually the old Control PanelLinks to the system section of the page will now take you to the About page in Settings. This promises that there will be more improvements that will usually accommodate more advanced controls in the system part of Control Panel, and Microsoft will make Settings closer to Control Panel.
