What is a Distance Sales Contract?
It is a comprehensive contract that includes additional information in addition to the information contained in the preliminary information form. Since it is a comprehensive contract, it can be customized according to the needs of the e-commerce site. The most important scopes are related to the detailed contact information of the parties, details of the goods and services subject to sale, return and withdrawal procedures. In e-commerce, sales can only be completed after the distance sales contract is approved by the buyer.

The distance sales contract was issued in the Official Gazette dated 6.03.2011 with the regulation numbered 27886. The approved version of this contract is required to be kept by the seller for 3 years.
